    When you know the paperback is going to be worth it…

    Truth is, after the first edition of the book came out, there was still so much I didn’t know despite all the reporting I’d done. I share what new sources helped me understand in the all-new afterword of the updated paperback edition. Hope you’ll read it.

    I’m happy I did it. Healthy mom. Healthy baby. Safe family.

    Earlier this year I had the opportunity to speak with about her COVID19 vaccination. I think by doing this publicly she may have saved a lot of lives. Also good on for strong public health messaging

    1. It's been just over a year since I tweeted this thread below. I wish I felt hopeful about the future with respect to the folks who have been financially devastated by this pandemic, but I am more worried than ever. Would be grateful if you would read & share this new thread.

    1. I've never had a hard time sleeping. But the past three nights I have slept a total of 3 hours. I'm writing this so I can sleep. I am very angry. And I've realized during that having the space to be angry is a privilege because many people are too busy being terrified.
