It’s 11:12 and I’m 18 minutes away from being late and I hate everything including myself. Metro: the train is about to depart. the train is about to depart. Me: DEPART ALREADY.

We have moved from discussing fucked up family dynamics to talking about the travails of having enough money to have family members sponge off you. We are the classiest. (seriously though, apparently there are people who can spend millions of NT every month?)pic.twitter.com/o6g3iB4mJz

We have somehow started talking about David's brother in law and how he is an absolute douche. Most noteworthy recent event, not helping his wife get his daughter in her stroller down the stairs. We...are very good at this dating thing. First impressions, what.pic.twitter.com/QiqVSdrNcq

My feet hurt super lots and I regret wearing my ankle boots. The next bus is 20 min away. PSA: no first date could possibly be worth actual pain, send tweet. Seriously, dude is very nice but he walked me to the blue line instead of the red line and IT MATTERS.pic.twitter.com/T2hw7MtyeC

To be fair we are talking about family drama because dude is super quiet. Not sure if he's shy or if he's judging me for being 45 min late or what, but my cousin in law and I were carrying 98% of the convo. Ok I lied, we talk about family drama anyway because we have no class.pic.twitter.com/FS4iCJDbmL

I tossed out "I'm thinking about moving back to the US" and he's definitely not really game for that, so~ Ok, so they had a champagne crepe cake and the champagne jelly on top was kinda cool but the filling for the crepes tasted like Japanese mayonnaise fir some reason?

Anyway, dude is really nice but very quiet and seems way more dutiful than I could ever be and now I need a hot shower, ginger soup, and to be off my feet please god。

Are these from Din Tai Fung? I had pancakes like these in Yokohama, and I am trying to eat these ones through the phone.
-
Oh no, not Din Tai Fung. It's um, Rose House Cafe? But I see they're all the rage now in Taiwan and at least one other place was serving them in the mall!
