It doesn't matter if he's a veteran or not. A HUMAN BEING still lost his life.

A "human" that killed people
-
So that means his life is worth less than that of a veteran? How can someone's life not mean anything? regardless of what they did.
-
A person who gave their life for our freedom and served our country is worth much more than a convicted murderer.
-
Ok since they served the country, they're worth more than you too, right?
-
Crazy to put values on lives. It is interesting to me the amount of sadness over the loss of a celebrity compared to loss of a soldier.
-
I have no sadnesses over this. A tragedy is when a soldier is killed, not when a coward takes his own life.
-
Not saying you have sadness. I just browsed through some of the other comments and a lot of people feel a real sense of loss for this guy.

Good point but I think the interest in this suicide might be driven by our inner sense of justice and not only the lure of spectacle.
-
The attention is driven by him having been a famous sports star.
-
Of course. If you're already famous your suicide will be. But I think the emotional response is multifaceted, some moving beyond fame.
-
Mostly, the attention is because he was a famous sports star.
-
I think there is more attention because he is a murderer. "Normal" people don't understand murderers. It's intriguing
-
Mostly, the attention is because he is a famous sports star (who committed murder and suicide).
-
Is that all you can say?
-
People didn't get this fact the first time.

The irony being you managed to mention Aaron Hernandez and not any of the vets you pretend to care about this morning.

I actually agree with you so why don't you ask your leader Trump why he hasn't started fixing the VA as promised? He seems to lie a lot

-
You might want to give him a little more than 3 months
-
90 days & he's flipped on many issues, I'm amazed you people still buy his BS! The VA has been a joke for 40+ years so I hope he does help

-
Check out the bill he signed today
-
Oh yeah, another photo op. I missed that one.
-
Hardly a photo op vets are very happy
