Your profile says you worked for CIA. And yet your argument is if Secret Service has AR-15s, everyone should? That's worrisome.

And I haven't seen Hillary or anyone else want to "take away guns". She'd like to ban assault weapons and increase background checks

Just ban "assault weapons?" Oh, then that's ok. Because pistols can't kill people, right?

I don't advocate for or against a ban. But undeniable assault weapons are used in mass shootings bc u can kill quickly

You're uninformed. Do a little research about capacity. AR 15 holds 30+ rounds

What an insensitive oversimplification. Bigotry shouldn't be belittled just because a worse atrocity came along.

@im_marcie without an assault rifle he would not have been able to butcher so many people. Why could he buy one?

First off, there is no such thing as an "assault rifle". Second, he was cleared by the FBI, so blame them. @KatiePavlich

a weapon designed for mass murder, thats what I call an assault rifle. It has no civilian purpose.

Also, that firearm was not designed for "mass murder". An AR-15 is a hunting rifle. @KatiePavlich
