IMPORTANT: The March for Trump rally was 99% peaceful. President Trump was still speaking when the Capitol had been breached. There was zero cellphone service all day. ZERO! The majority the crowd didn’t know what was going on because they were listening to Trump’s speech.
President Trump told the crowd to peacefully march to the Capitol after his speech. It was in the process of being breached but no one knew. By the time the vast majority made it to the Capitol there was no police presence and it just looked like there was a rally on the steps.
The attacks on law enforcement officers and destruction of property must be condemned. But yesterday’s “riot” was in no way a coup, terrorist attack, or anything even remotely in that regard—which is what mainstream media is telling you.
This was the first overstep I have seen on the conservative side. It was shameful and it was condemned. Democrat politicians are relating this incident to the attack on Pearl Harbor or WWII, that’s even more shameful.
If the conservative side kept this up for 9 months and demanded “no justice no peace,” I could understand mainstream media’s backlash. However, it’s all hypocrisy at this point. It was a mistake made and those involved will pay the price and be held accountable.
