A point of clarification for Twitterers who appear not to be reading the transcript, Nunes says his intention is to "make [the courts] aware" of the alleged abuses he has claimed in the Page warrant application. The question now, he says, is whether they go to SCOTUS or the FISC.

His plan now is to send a letter, he says, but who do they send it to? (Going to SCOTUS, he suggests, may "conflict" the Court.)

Anyway, here's why there's an interest in the court's take: Nunes' case hangs on the legal importance of disclosing an informant’s bias in a warrant application—something that is often contested in the courts but depends on the facts of an individual case.

I believe the extent that Nunes is going to in this case suggests that he and/or Speaker Ryan are in legal jeopardy regarding some part of the Mueller investigation. Nothing else explains it.

I read every footnote from a supplier responding to an RFQ for federal business. I would guess a FISA judge may give equal, or possibly greater, scrutiny than I give to footnotes I run across in day to day business.
