I’m home and am still shaken. I need to know that lady is ok. Did they throw her out into the fucking night? Did she have her coat? Was she on her own?! Did anyone see her afterwards? She was visibly distressed - I can’t bear to think of her being alone. This is so, SO wrong.

Just to let you know that the lady was eventually reunited with her friends once the Duty Manager had calmed down a bit.

When the Duty Manager had calmed down? Seriously? How would they react to a violent incident? They need to be charged with assault, disability discrimination and sacked if what I've read here is true.

Sadly it is true. There were better ways to deal with this.
@BFI staff needed to listen to the quieter audience members pointing this out.2 replies 0 retweets 9 likes -

I believe you, but obv wasn't there so felt I had to put a proviso, not disbelieving you at all - but really? Dragged??

I hear you. Yes another audience member had to go home in a cab because her foot got stamped on allegedly. Was so disproportionate.

I can't imagine they've heard the last of this

Yeah I imagine so. Ultimately - sadly - it was the audience members who whipped up this storm who caused the greatest damage.

Can't imagine what they got out of complaining, unless they themselves were noise sensitive and sucked into the incel movement or something. Hardly saved the peace and was never going to.
