Stealing is stealing . It’s a crime . Should be punished . Period . Imagine everyone thinking they can go into a store and steal without consequences. It’s absurd don’t you think?

Stealing is stealing, which is why this kid should get the same minor slap-on-the-wrist fine that Walgreens and others face.

Why is it not really? Stealing is wrong. If I steal a million dollars and pay a fine, what penalty should you face for stealing ten dollars? Equality under the law is the foundation of our entire government.

If you steal 10 dollars you should be arrested . Just like people that steal millions. Why is it so hard to understand

In 2016 Wells Fargo created more than a million fraudulent savings accounts. Just opening *one* such account is a felony. Not a single person responsible went to jail.

So basically it's a race to the bottom? Instead of holding others accountable, let's play "well, they did it...so can we?". A society brazen theft. So now theft is perfectly fine, let it come to the idiots who defend theft.

It’s already come to you. Corporations and their paid-for politicians steal from you on a daily basis and you let them get away with it. But keep on getting outraged by a petty thief, it’s what they want.

Then fight the corporations, corruption, and theft. This "well, they do it, so we should too" bullshit is a race to the bottom. AND for the most part, most Americans are still quite comfortable...compared to third world countries, socialism, or communism
