Interesting extracurricular activities of plumbers and waterproofers, property developers are not known for quality building standards. I’ll never forget shock of Roger Rogerson arriving, in 1990s, with the scaffolding for my building. He grinned - loved being recognised.

Loved it and I have just read Patrick’s two books, Empire of Pain (about the evil Sackler family who made squillions from opioids) and Rogues (a collection of spivs and shysters) both of which are fabulous reads. #bigweekendofbooks
