It is not the students that determine the move toward a NEW economics, it's the new hires, if they keep hiring more of the same old same old academic backgrounds, you get taught the same stuff again (perhaps just more palatably repackaged) this applies to any discipline really

Otherwise we depend on one or two enlightened professors to actually change spontaneously...

How many economics course (A level & degree) start with consideration of Commons; Management of the Commons; Principles of Institutions & philosophy of cooperation? All such courses should start that way.

Congrats to you...your doughnut is powerful. But the steadfastness of once learned ideas is huge as well. I gave your book to a guy I know in the treasury of Northrhine-Westfalia. He recently told me that (like me) he now has copies of the book in his office. To spread the idea!
