i cant really wrap my head around the fact people who violently breached the building, and trashed it were allowed to just...leave the capitol.

I have watched so many peaceful protesters get arrested over the years there for blocking hallways. It is shocking to witness.

I saw a video of the cops helping a protester down the stairs. Helping. Her. Down. The. Stairs. Like she was their mother.

Please keep asking the Capital Police and any other law enforcement involved today WHY they were treated so differently. This is critical.

Perhaps investigate the security officers... clearly this is suspect.

It’s white privilege of course, along with a hunch that the capitol police is in on the insurgency — or at the very least, CP was sensitive to Trump’s desire to stick to anyone he can. Some kind of collaboration. Because any other explanation is more dangerous, ie, incompetence.

White privilege. It’s a thing. And it’s not ok.
