For the record, in no context is it ok to write hurtful things about your students’ bodies. They are real people. They have feelings too.

I just wanted to add on: as a teacher, your primary responsibility is to your students. They are not fodder for your memoir. Neither are they lessons-in-waiting. They are young people entrusted to your care. Treat them as you would wish teachers to treat your own kids

I was quite relieved to see an apology until I read 'especially those taken out of context'. Actually just realised there is no explicit apology here nevermind.
