No one should have to risk their health to make their voice heard. Support our Oregon Senators and demand that Mitch McConnell provide funding to expand Vote By Mail for all Americans:
Republicans thought no one would notice when they passed legislation restricting voting rights in Iowa.
Vote From Home noticed and we're fighting back to make sure Iowans can cast their ballots and vote suppressing politicians are defeated. 🎥
“Grassroots vibe" for the Republican Party means a coordinated attack on voting rights. We noticed and we're taking action to support voters and defeat these politicians at the ballot box.
Must-watch video: Heritage admits it is writing voter suppression laws for GOP state legislators
“we actually draft them for them, or we give them the model legislation so it has that grassroots, from-the-bottom-up type of vibe”
NEW: Arizona is a national leader when it comes to election integrity and access to the ballot box, and today I signed #SB1485 to continue that legacy. 1/
This isn't a policy disagreement. Cutting drop box access, making voters apply over and over again for a mail ballot, and fundamentally changing state board of elections is a blatant attack on civil rights.
With 4.8 million Floridians voting by mail in 2020, Republicans have responded by:
❌Purging the state's vote by mail list
❌ Drastically cutting drop box availability
❌ Criminalizing aspects of ballot return which harms homebound voters #SB90
Even in a Republican-majority state like Alabama, voting rights still have a voice! Democrats are thwarting Republican attempts to suppress the vote and protecting voters from their antics limiting access to voting from home.
Republicans met at 1 am on Tuesday, adding voter ID to this already egregious legislation attacking vote by mail. #SB90 just passed in the Florida House and is one step closer to becoming law.
Let's be clear, this is nothing less than an erosion of civil rights.
Just in: The Florida House has passed SB90, an omnibus voting bill that limits drop boxes, adds new ID requirements, prohibits outside funding for local election administration, restrict who can collect and drop off absentee ballots, among other changes.
Florida House PASSES elections bill. It limits access to ballot drop boxes, bans mobile drop off boxes (ie ballot vans in Palm Beach County), adds new voter ID requirements, and outlines who can and can’t drop off a vote by mail ballot on your behalf.
There’s a lot more in it.
With 361 restrictive bills introduced across the country, voter suppression is a top issue ahead of 2022. I'll be speaking with leaders from Georgia, Arizona, and Iowa about how we can counteract this destructive legislation. http://votefromhomeusa.org/govbrownevent
After record turnout and elections dubbed by DHS as the 'most secure in American history,' Republicans have unleashed an onslaught of voter suppression legislation. I'm talking with leaders from GA, AZ, and IA about protecting access to the ballot box. http://votefromhomeusa.org/govbrownevent
& our FIRST event is soon! I'm gonna sharing info about voter suppression legislation in swing states and why year-round organizing is vital to making sure Dems turn out in 2022. http://votefromhomeusa.org/govbrownevent
States following Georgia's lead on voter suppression:

Oklahoma
Pennsylvania
South Carolina
Wisconsin
Wyoming
Texas Republicans want to charge local election officials with a felony for sending absentee ballot applications to voters.
I don't know how putting hard working election officials in prison makes our voting more secure (hint: it doesn't).
is a champion for protecting voting rights and voter access. I'm grateful for the conversation we had on Tuesday night about how crucial state leaders are in safeguarding our democracy. From coast to coast we are taking on this vital work!
Blatant racism. That's what we're seeing across the country as Republicans try to suppress the voices of Black, brown and Indigenous voters at the ballot box. Glad I got the chance to talk w/ Amy Goodman
We've seen 361 bills introduced this year to suppress Black, brown and Indigenous voters. @KateBrownForOR is dedicated to pushing back against racist laws that threaten access to the ballot box.
As of today, 306 bills have been introduced in state legislators and 53 of them have passed at least one legislative process. It's time we organize like never before to protect voting rights in communities across the country.
Voting should be as easy as 1-2-3 and it will be when Nevada passes AB 321 to expand vote by mail!
We're grateful for voting rights visionaries Speaker Frierson and Assemblywoman Benitez-Thompson for introducing AB 321. #nvleg
Georgia Republicans’ assault on our democracy will not stand. While Republicans spread lies about our elections and try to strip Americans of their rights, Democratic governors will continue to fight to protect voting rights and voting access
Georgia's corrupt Republican legislature is one step closer to disenfranchising voters. We MUST stop them! Join us in this fight. http://votefromhomeusa.org
to protect & expand vote by mail across the country and I need you on our team. Volunteer so we can make sure swing states can continue to vote from home.
It’s a great day to protect vote by mail! Oregon has been doing it for 22 years and after historic turnout in 2020, vote by mail is under attack. I’m asking you to contribute and join our team to make sure swing states can vote safely from home.
