It was incredibly difficult for me to actually enjoy and get rest from days off. Had to stop using those days for freelancing and bartending and just ..I dunno...sleep.

I've learned this too. I realized recently that prioritizing good sleep habits—so I could wake up earlier and be well-rested—would make all my other goals easier to achieve. So I'm starting working on that goal first

There are people arguing that this is not actually a skill. There is no Delete function in human brain. In this case unlearning doesn't seem possible.

I don't think of it as a literal thing. It's more about being able to change your perspective/stance on specific topics or rewire your brain to create healthier thought patterns.

Yes! What's the most important thing you've unlearned in 2019? Mine is being able to express all of my emotions rather than suppress the bad ones in order to look fine. It took practice! Not easy at all.

I’d say that be biggest thing I’ve needed to unlearn is believing that worrying about something means there must be something to worry about. That’s not always the case.

An interesting things abt the human cannabinoid system (which cannabis utilizes) is that it appears 2b involved in the biochemical process of "unlearning" which is why is effective w PTSD. The body has a mechanism 2 adapt 2 new info & "unlearn" formally adaptive neural patterns.
