I'll keep repeating this ad nauseum, but here it goes again. GOP members recognize that hurting the economy is the most important thing they can do to bolster GOP chances in 2024. This is a party-wide consensus.

SCOTUS held that gun restrictions are only constitutional if they have historical analogues from 1791 or 1868. But domestic violence was widely accepted in those eras. So, the 5th Circuit says, the government can't disarm alleged domestic abusers today.

🚨 The 5th Circuit just said govt cant temporarily disarm a person found to pose a threat to another & subject to a DV restraining order. It strains analogies to discard past laws disarming dangerous folks, but this is the key: the founders didnt care abt DV, so modern laws cant. twitter.com/JacobDCharles/…

A comet last visible during the Stone Age has appeared for the first time over Stonehenge. The last time the green comet, called C/2022 E3 (ZTF), was visible from Earth was around 50,000 years ago, long before the stone circle was built. 📷:

Kat is great at this. If you're frustrated with a draft/ picking up something you tucked away for a while/thinking of resubmitting I highly recommend her services. She did a good job finding my blindspots AND was warm and encouraging in her feedback.

I'd always understood that comics were collaborative, but it wasn't until I wrote them that I understood how *much* the artist does. It's immense. Not crediting them as part of the storytelling is just ridiculous.

Organizing my thoughts on DC Studios stuff now, but I'd just like to note that SUPERGIRL: WOMAN OF TOMORROW is by Tom King AND Bilquis Evely. Evely did the art. King's writing is great, but the book is nothing without Evely's stunning alien vistas & characterization of Supergirl.
