There are many countries with free educational systems and healthcare that are not communist.

I think millennials are more supportive of the idea that everyone should be able to receive some base level of resources from institutions that use broader societal resources such as labor, infrastructure, etc.

Many people are under the mistaken assumption that Scandinavian countries are socialist. They're not. Very few countries are constitutionally socialist.
