This is a very good point, Mr. Kasparov. We can have empathy for the murderer because, “he knows not what he does”, but we must still protect Society and keep him locked up. That’s wisdom.
Putin embrasses cute dogs with true affection on TV and so some people think he must be a great guy and we should see him in gray colors rather than black and white and just like with Trump supporters, you can't suggest they wake up as it's you then who becomes the nasty one.
I have empathy for people who feel threatened but I will not accept their hostility nor condone their bad judgement when it’s aimed at others!
