I have a feeling that the press now realizes that they dropped the ball when it came to vetting trump for the benefit of those who didn’t realize what a scum bag the guy is. Everyone thought to begin with it was a joke. What a mistake!

How is it no one ever heard he signed a consent decree and paid $500k to the govt for money laundering violations at his casino. And how is it people didn’t realize a guy in the building and casino gaming industries in NY and NJ would have ties to organized crime?

Obviously the mainstream media didn’t do a good enough job of letting people know and understand the significance of those violation as far as the indications of his character.

I’m not trying to lay all of the blame on the MSM, but they and most Americans thought his candidacy was a joke and treated it so. By the time everyone figured it out, it was too late to do a thorough explanation of what a crook he is. Too bad but true.
