It’s a common expression among LatinX Americans, and it was what I heard earlier this week when I was in San Antonio for my latest Velshi Across America conversation. #velshi
I worked in the LRGV along the banks of the Rio Bravo for a while. Special place. Wish everyone understood this history. There was another meaningful phrase used by people I loved - 'crossing borders of awareness by bringing awareness to the border'
