Reverse panda diplomacy would be humiliating for China and a clear signal without disrupting our economy. If it failed, we would have pandas here for the rest of their lives. No intention to harm pandas.

Oh I love this. Another idea—HK protesters should all dress as pandas. Seriously (sort of anyway.) would the police really want to beat up pandas? Would the PAP/PLA shoot at pandas? Terrible optics. Humor is the best way to weaken your tormenter

Having read your post, I'm concerned that you have misunderstood the present HK situation. It is still one country 2 systems i.e. HK police is under HK government not China. Original peaceful protest have turned into personal desires of a minority group
