@KarlreMarks I remember in late 90s an Iraqi doctor telling me abt people needing very basic surgeries dying due to anesthesia shortage -
@RawyaRageh they didn't let pencils in. A cruel punishment that hurt the Iraqi people and benefited Saddam -
@KarlreMarks Ya Allah. Sanctions = collective punishment inflicted on the country's weakest. And they don't even deter those in power. -
