Suppliers to the auto industry also need to rethink and retool their strategies, lest they too become irrelevant in the shift from ICE to EV. The next 10 years will be very telling. @elonmusk @Teslahttps://bit.ly/2WoBR7L

Good on them. Now about that charging infrastructure.
-
More entities need to get on board to deploy DC fast charging infrastructure, as well as, make cars to handle the higher charge rate. Potential for 'big oil' to fund joint EV/ICE infrastructure as a play to remain relevant in post-2020 world??

Just absolutely SHOCKED that the big 3 is lagging behind in technology and development. SHOCKED!!!!

No surprise here. Everybody was waiting to see how the new car maker (at the time) (2012) would make it in their world; most didn't give them two thoughts. Shoes on the other foot now. Getting to the place where TSLA is now requires billions and several years of dev/eng work.
