    This was the right decision. To keep our students safe and our schools running smoothly, it is critical that everyone in our community who is eligible gets vaccinated -- not only our educators and school employees. That is how we will ultimately put this pandemic behind us.

    We’re deeply saddened to learn that trailblazing diplomat and activist Jim Hormel has passed away. Jim faced down homophobic attacks with grace and his life and work are an inspiration to generations of LGBTQ people working toward a fairer world.

    Don’t be ridiculous Senator. On the off chance that every Virginia home cannot get broadband by 2024 w/this $700 million, we have plenty of Rescue Plan funding prudently left to finish up. Why don’t you thank your U.S. Democratic delegation for providing these resources? Not 1 R!

    Led by Northern Virginia Democrats whose constituents already have broadband, the Senate killed $1 billion to expand broadband so rural Virginians can educate their kids and receive telemedicine healthcare on a party-line vote.
