Staffers described a complete absence of camaraderie. Demont would often invite campaign staffers out to dinner & force them to pay for their meals. She turned meetings into lectures & created a climate so toxic that many abandoned their plans to pursue careers in politics.

Be the example you want to see in the world then. Right now it’s not that great. It seems you are exhibiting many of the attributes you are saying about her manager. You could have done so much good.
