No one knows how they'll react on the worst day of their life.
But on 9/11/2001, 415 First Responders rushed towards the danger, towards the people who needed help. They never came back.
Men & women of such bravery are a rare breed. I have the deepest admiration for them.

Burning wreckage was falling off the buildings. Bodies were hitting the ground. The air was impossible to breathe and filled with burning particles. The noise was insane and every molecule in your body screamed run away. These brave men marched in to save lives. Amazing.

So true. I've been to war, been to battle, did my job with honor. To this day I tell my wife no one knows what or how to react until the time comes. Those guys were true heroes

Absolutely horrifying and heartbreaking. I’ll never forget walking across town to get home and looking south and the towers on fire. It’s an image I’ll never forget.
