    10/ Lastly, have longer investment horizon - experiments happen seasonally. Track annual performance n not monthly growth. Put more weightage on founder market fit in agritech and time spent on the ground - it takes a lot of time to understand farmers.

    9/ U can give credit to farmers in innovative tech enabled ways. Key is to control the end loan use, make it cashless, and have strong local references for customer acquisition and collections. Best is to have past transaction data based underwriting.

    8/ Quality data is very valuable in agritech. imo it is faster and better monetizable compared to other sectors. Data can help predict output, suggest inputs, sell better, underwrite better, build trust and influence decisions. Platform play gives u many prop data points.

    5/ Selling a pure tech prdt is tough, build a platform instead and monetize thru transactions. Moat is the network of farmers you can influence. Back founders who have built tech enabled platforms/marketplaces.

    4/ Gross margins r not as high as pure tech prdt play. Feet on street and fragmented farmers, result in higher CAC. So LTV and 'scale' becomes important. Trust builds LTV. Back founders who have/can handle scale.

    2/ There is more agri than tech in Agritech (similar to Foodtech). High operations intensity. On ground insights and execution is the key. Be ready for an offline play.
