Is it wrong to say that With a sponsoring Rabbi, living and participating within an orthodox community, a long time period of study, and completion of the requirements ( circumcision, etc), a convert is considered Jewish in the Orthodox community?

well, it might be easier for a woman? Not sure, I don't know enough to comment, but all my son's are circumcised but not Jewish, now-a-days it's a common procedure. I have no doubt if they follow steps you say, it is probable. Orthodox? Not sure. Heritage means a lot in the faith
