The kid was 17 it was already illegal for him to purchase a gun. He used guns that belonged to his parents. It is time we put as much emphasis on protecting our children as we do on our banks or politicians!
It is long past due for Congress to have the courage to pass reasonable gun safety laws. This is not a question of right or left. It's a question of right or wrong.

It is not the place of Congress to decide morals (right & wrong). It is the responsibility of the people to teach future generations such things. Congress would do better to clean up our legislation, so those people have a better understanding of what Laws remain for the future.
