In the real world, this would be like someone watching what you do, where you go, for how long, and with whom you’re with every day. For most, it would feel like an invasion of privacy.

I agree 100% but it is a free service, no one is forcing people to use the app. I would rather fight for better laws around tightening of rules for gun ownership and mental health.

Most people have been well-aware of the lack of internet privacy for a long time. The real issue is data misuse - we need to not be distracted from the bigger point of corporations & foreign gov’s mining our data to craft propaganda to infiltrate our political / social landscape.
