We don't need to waste time and $ to reform the bail system in America when there are so many other issues of critical importance. She should have paid the fine, she should have appeared the first time, she should have appeared the second time. How about personal responsibility?

There also needs to be a way to allow incarcerated mothers a fair chance to retain their custody rights. Many women aren’t informed & the time limit is short And women loose their rights to their children within 6-8 mos of incarceration We need to do better
