@KamalaHarris and@CoryBooker this is a reasonable resolution to a major incarceration problem that makes no sense. This legislation goes deeper than decriminalization, removing these felony convictions is vitally important as well. Thank you both for your hard work. -

Please refer to it as cannabis. At the least, please refer to it as cannabis in legal and formal contexts. The scientific designations and standard designations are, "Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, and Cannabis ruderalis." Marijuana and similar epithets are racist propaganda.

Excellent! I, myself, always try to say Cannabis, not marijuana or weed for those exact reasons; and I often explain why as well.

How about making the point we are classifying a non-lethal plant with proven medicinal benefits as a class 1 illegal drug while opiates remain legal as medicine in all 50 states despite skyrocketing overdose rates? This is about profits.

@KamalaHarris Here's a huge problem with your whole video and why it might not get the eyes you might want: You repeatedly use the word "marijuana" vs cannabis as well as refer to it as a "drug". The other person on this says this word and also calls it a "drug." (1) -
