Just made a Twitter to express how upset I am about the strike. If it was completly up to us( UC Berkeley graduating seniors) this wouldn’t be a problem. Sad we won’t have you at our graduation/ upset that we were the target of the strike.

Harris has absolutely lost my vote if she runs for president. You pull out of a commencement speech one week before the event, so that you can cater to striking workers?!? Shame on you! Those students had nothing to do with the strike, but you use your power to punish them!??

Every able bodied American citizen already has the opportunity for work, IF they want it. Not sure what your talking points are here.

No it’s not. We want to foster free enterprise and the American dream. Economic equality has never been part of the American concept. And economic justice? What exactly is that?

Isn't that a GREAT message to deliver to the graduates at
@UCBerkeley? A great teaching moment lost, I'm afraid. cc/@RoKhanna@RBReichThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

You may think you are taking a stand against economic inequality by canceling your commencement speech
@UCBerkeley, but all you are doing is hurting many graduating students who are preparing to enter this discouraging job market. -
I’m sorry you feel slighted. She’s trying to show solidarity with university workers, many of whom cannot afford college. Still, it sucks if you’re a graduate. Last minute and all.
