Full-time employment is now considered 35 hours per week, Kamala. And only about 47% of Americans have full-time employment. So you're arguing that about one hundred seventeen million Americans, potentially living in poverty, is acceptable. In the richest country in the world.
Together we can build an economy where the minimum wage is an actual living wage — and no person who works 40 hours a week is forced to live in poverty.

It is very difficult to get a full time job. Employers just not interested . They rather get international students. The best bargain ever. They getting intelligent hardworking kids for a pennies. And they unlikely to complain.

Min wage FL around $8/hour. A single person living with their parents, owing student loans, owning car/car ins, would have hard time on $8hr. $15hr still not livable. Most min wage jobs keep employees under 40hrs to avoid paying benefits. Ex of $15/hr monthly budget
