It’s not just the gun lobby. It’s everyday Americans like myself who value the ability to protect my family and home who are skeptical anytime government wants to further restrict our freedoms given by God (self preservation) and protected by our Constitution.

Until we get rid of citizens united and as long as politicians have to raise millions sometimes billions *privately* to compete nothing will change. If we took 1% pr year out of the military budget, currently at 524 billion, we could publicly fund elections indefinitely.
