Why do people continue to vote Republican in a state like Arizona where schools are having these problems? I’ll never understand it.

We’re the sunshine state, filled with people who escape the cold weather and move here to retire, they don’t have children in school anymore so they don’t value it the same way.

Governments spend money based on what they value, just as we all do. We need to ask how much the state legislature values education of their children.

It's easier to manipulate people who get little quality education.

I really wish we could get people to see taxes as community investment. Police, fire, medical and education paid for with taxes. Corporations not paying their share and low wages affects everyone.

absoloutely right, in fact corporations get significant tax relief. some universities r the majority land owners... they 2 do not pay taxes. many are set up as non profits etc. Colgate in NY, Loyola in Baltimore r some instance where their presence increases disparity

I have a hard time feeling sympathy for a Red state, whose residents always vote republican. And hateful ones, at that.

Thank you, Senator! We stand united in the fight to give our students the education they deserve. Arizona lawmakers must make investing in the education of our kids a priority over investing in more prisons. Arizona’s future depends on it.

Politicians need to stop wasting taxpayers
kitchen tables, sound proof phone booths, blatantly running up extravagant travel bills, private jets, weekly golf outings, spending taxpayer dollars for self enrichment, list too long . No
