How do you feel about the families of other criminals? Aren’t we also “breaking up” THEIR families when we send them to prison? My opinion: it’s the criminal who is responsible for the “breaking up” ..it is the consequence of their poor choice.

You fight for "injustice", yet your very actions are creating exponentially more injustice in the process. The fact that you dont see this, or worse ignore it, is typical of a career politician that only serves their own interests and that of their donors.

It's bout your safety

These people put their own kids at risk entering the country illegally. They can be deported the same way. Because keeping families together is important.

It could be about legal immigration and following the law. What if everyone in the country just didn’t pay taxes for the next five years. You would be okay with that right, because laws are just words?

You still fail to understand the basic premiss here. A person that enters this country illegally is no more an immigrant than a person that enters your home illegally is a guest. Do you fight this hard for citizens that break the law and become separated due to a prison sentence?
