There are whole industries being built up around people incarcerating and detaining black, brown, and poor people. We need to address that.

i’m all for your progressive platform, *except* for this newfound progressive criminal justice schtick. as AG, you defended capital convictions, never conceded error once, refused to settle cases w/ severely mentally ill death row inmates, and appealed wins against dirty cops.

Americans laws on sex trade is counter productive. Much like our drug laws. They create criminal networks that are ruthless.

Seems like more of a turf war "campaign" message; US liberals tend to have a hyper-focus on "private prisons" and "for-profit" prison-related services because they insist only their carceral state should reap the rewards of ongoing chattel slavery/mass incarceration...
