Your own lawyers said that people incarcerated were an important “labor pool” then when you got heat for it you said you didn’t know they argued against early release. So you’re either terrible at your job or a liar.pic.twitter.com/S74YUmyQgM

I disagree, she's terrible at her job AND she's a liar!
i’m all for your progressive platform, *except* for this newfound progressive criminal justice schtick. as AG, you defended capital convictions, never conceded error once, refused to settle cases w/ severely mentally ill death row inmates, and appealed wins against dirty cops.
your work as AG maintained and further populated those industries you now condemn. smh.
I seem to remember you building your career on incarcerating black, brown, and poor people.
And also failed to prosecute Mnuchin...
And you're contributing to it by passing laws that incarcerate people in the sex trade or do drive the sex trade underground. SESTA FOSTA impact brown, black and poor people first. Please address that.
Americans laws on sex trade is counter productive. Much like our drug laws. They create criminal networks that are ruthless.
Is this supposed to be a revelation? YOU of all people already knows this.
Seems like more of a turf war "campaign" message; US liberals tend to have a hyper-focus on "private prisons" and "for-profit" prison-related services because they insist only their carceral state should reap the rewards of ongoing chattel slavery/mass incarceration...
