International students pay a lot more for tuition, so the system actually wants them to get more $. It’s all about the money. American students might be hurt because of that.

That would assume Congress would like us to be an educated public. If you look at American history we have done everything we can to keep the lower classes ignorant. Well informed citizens might actually expect something from our elected officials. Even stop lobbyists - horrors!

The high cost of college education is driven by the gov't student loans. The colleges recognize that govt provides loans to students,colleges just keep raising the tuition fees. And then the students graduate with insurmountable debt that cannot be supported by entry level work
