The day they ask me (or any of my colleagues) to carry a gun into a classroom is the day they have to find my replacement.

I am all for guns! I am also for gun safety. There is no reason why an armed security person can not be at the door. How did the shooter get into the school without signing in. My school always had a person at the door making sure you signed in before entering .
