Wall Street greed and abuse crashed our economy in 2008. I will fight against any legislation to deregulate the Big Banks and make it easier for them to crash it again.

What crashed the economy were millions of Americans borrowing against home equity that wasn’t real to buy consumable goods that ALWAYS depreciate. Once the false real estate gains evaporated, so did bank solvency. Duh.

Well Congress forcing Banks to make bad loans caused the problem. There were serious abuses of power by certain members of Congress. Then there was the forced bank bail out. Congress, especially Democrats, caused the 2008 crisis!

Not any banks went broke in 2008, they all got “bailed out”, and not even a single person spent a day in jail. We the honorable were screwed coming and going, the crooks and schemers prospered.
