Memories are short. Glass Stegall was enacted after the depression to prevent bank abuses, it was repealed, we had more bank abuses. Dodd Frank was enacted to prevent bank abuses after 2008, now the banks want it repealed. Fool me twice, shame on me.
I firmly oppose legislation in the Senate to deregulate the Big Banks. Undoing the progress we’ve made on protecting consumers from Wall Street greed and abuse is a bad idea.
