This is what i don’t understand Senator... who care what the NRA thinks? It is not a legislative body. How do they carry so much power over our government?
It's shameful the NRA is rejecting bipartisan calls to pass reasonable gun safety laws. Instead, they are attacking anyone with the courage to stand up to them. We can't give in or be silent. Let’s keep fighting until our kids and our communities are safe from gun violence.

I'm sorry, but since when does the NRA pass laws? That's the job of Congress, last I checked.

They have given millions of dollars in contributions to politicians such as Trump, Rubio to keep their interests protected and laws preventing any gun reform that would affect NRA profit. That's how they affect the outcome of laws.
