The federal minimum wage, in place since 2009, is $7.25 an hour. That’s not enough to keep a roof over your head. We must #RaiseTheWage and ensure the federal minimum wage is a living wage. #SOTU

My ex daughter in law was making 15.00 dollars an hour with a Masters Degree in WV. She had to leave the state for a better paying job. If you can’t live on $15 an hour, how in Gods name can you live on $7.25

According to the BLS, 86% of people making minimum wage are high school or college age. Minimum wage is a starting point, not a career path.

If wages go up- won’t the cost of good also go up? How about lowering taxes on that money so that the product is affordable and I can keep more of my money- oh wait Trump and the Republicans did that
