Medical care treatment and prevention should Not be based on ones ability to afford insurance. It's always been wrong to have a for profit health system. Profiting on suffering is Not an American "Value" But Sadly It has been. Time to remedy the system.

Who is being denied healthcare? Who is being turned away?

Many are still without healthcare coverage. But even beyond that, we pay more per capita by far than any other country with worse outcomes because of the outrageous profits for insurance and pharmaceutical companies.

My insurance company does that as well. Obviously there needs to be some sort of price controls. Compared to Medicare, my private insurance is far more restrictive.

If you folded it in gently by lowering the Medicare age about a year every year or two, the system would absorb the shock, and with less "I have to wait til I'm dying" care going on, it will save many (in lives and monies)
