If corporations do not pay their employees a living wage, thus making them reliant on government benefits for basic needs, companies are essentially passing off their true costs of doing business onto the taxpayers. #CorporateWelfare

Reproductive rights and free high-quality childcare both make a huge difference in allowing all women to choose both motherhood and career. Free university education lets everyone pursue their academic/professional dreams, creating more opportunity.

Why the billionaires of the world meet with millionaires in Davos. Need to continue to come up with ways to stop governments from taxing them to help poor. It's a full time job for most of them. In fact, just what they pay lawyers & accountants could fund an entire s-hole country

Please explain your reasoning. The point of the meme (assuming the numbers are correct) is that the proportional cost of living, coupled with a commensurate increase in productivity of the average worker, means the fair pay for equivalent work today is $22/hr. Your dispute is...?
-
No dispute, this is why our country allows illegal/legal immigration by the millions, yearly. It's allowing room for the OVER TAXATION of American workers and funding of bipartisan UNION workers and their FULLY PAID RETIREMENT

The meltdown of this country is going to be epic, when the vast majority of its labor force cannot afford to retire ever. The lack of any pension or 401k will swing us wildly into a poverty shift never before seen. $1000 dollar bonus is pathetic.
-
That is so true. $1,000 doesn't get you anywhere these days.
