This is a national issue, not just a California issue. Lowering taxes in California won't help unless the savings is to the tune of hundreds of thousands per person who needs help from CHIP. Learn the topic.

The GOP Reps in the House voted for a CHIP funding bill that would also take healthcare away from 688,000 other Americans. i.e. They are trying to hold healthcare for 9 million kids for ransom so they can harm 688,000 other people: https://www.cbpp.org/blog/up-to-688000-would-lose-insurance-under-house-bill ….
