Thank you both, our favorite Senators, for fighting to preserve and fund HBCUs, especially at this time when bigotry is widely condoned, minority students want to attend a school where they feel welcomed. That’s why there’s an uptick in admissions and enrollment at HBCUs.
HBCUs have nurtured and challenged generations of students (myself included) — and provided them with the tools and confidence to succeed. "Bigotry is WIDELY condoned". Such as students of color on college campuses who demand separate facilities excluding whites? Or by companies such as Google who will harrass and fire employees who are not of the same political party, especially if they are white males?
