Stop the sympathy angle. Fight for all people to follow the laws of our country. Fight for CA not to be a sewer pit for illegal aliens. USA citizens need protection & enforcement of the laws for our protection.
Every single day we need to fight for a $15 minimum wage and paid leave, because we’ve got to make sure employees won’t be fired if they take a day off to care for a sick child or parent.

Haven't you been LISTENING? Wages JUST WENT UP TO $15/hour for a LOT OF PEOPLE because of the TAX REFORM/TAX CUTS..Businesses gave Christmas BONUSES too. You lot just want people to stay on welfare...PATHETIC drivel constantly out of your mouth.

A bonus is a one-time tax deduction for corps. Not the same as a weekly pay increase. A $1000 bonus is the equivalent of a 48 cent hourly raise. Once again, the Corps get the breaks, you get screwed.

If everyone is elevated to $15 hr for even the lowest skilled job, what happens to those SKILLED workers already making only $15-20 per hr ?

$15/hr minimum wage has a huge ripple effect consequences. Increase wages means everything else will increase, in order to keep up with everyone's pay or companies will just move to automated tech services. Think about the ripple before acting.
