We don’t need more oil! The market is already glutted. Even if the oligarchs are doing this to get richer, they should know they can get even richer, employ thousands of Americans, beat China, AND slow the incineration of our entire planet by investing in green energy.

Volvo has said they will stop making combustion engines in the next few years. Tesla and many others are going green. My guess most of it is for export.

This is incorrect. Offshore drilling works wonders and is better for the environment than letting natural oil leaks wreak natural havoc. Rigs to reefs creates biodiversity plus less oil in the ocean, how do you not support this?
