Protecting the Environment creates jobs for manufacturers, contractors, engineers, technicians, distributors, salesmen, masons, truckers, etc. Treating waste, wastewater and air requires the design, manufacture & installation of sewers, pumps, valves, pipes, tanks, equipment etc

If anyone has gone to the weftec conference (in Chicago this year) they will see thousands of companies who provide innovative equipment & solutions for protecting the environment. It’s an eye opener for anyone who thinks that protecting the environment costs jobs.

Indeed, one might argue we can't have one without the other---because a strong, clean environment is profitable in a multitude of very real ways, and a weak, polluted one is a drain on all our other resources.

Right! As well as setting up future clean energy ..the future is here! It doesn’t matter what irrelevant septuagenarians and their lobbies do. They just stall to cash in , but inevitably innovation will prevail.
